All Kajukenbo Family Grand Masters that have a direct linage to Sijo Emperado or one of the five original co-founders will be automatically on the KOA Council of Grand Masters and co-founders.
All other Grand Masters of the Kajukenbo Art, are Honorary Associated members of the KOA Advisory Council of Grand Masters.
The meaning of KOA ?

KOA's " Sifu Society" are The Protectors of the Kajukenbo Ohana and KOA.
The Sifu Society are the Arms and Legs of the KOA Council of Grand Masters.
The KOA / Sifu Society will conduct seminars for all the Kajukenbo Families.
All Kajukenbo Family Members are members of KOA through their Grand Master.
KOA's Goals are to Provide Continued Education and Growth of the Martial Arts for KOA.

** Today, ohana means family, including family members and friends and people still believe in their amakua. The meaning of ohana is used more generally now to refer to any group of people with a common bond.
